Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Ruairaidh Kelly,

I’m the founder of Health & Benefit Solutions NI, a Northern Ireland-based service dedicated to helping people navigate the benefits system with confidence, clarity and compassion.

I am a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a BSc (Hons) in Mental Health Nursing and am registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC). Alongside running Health & Benefit Solutions, I work within the NHS supporting individuals with a wide range of complex physical and mental health conditions.

My clinical experience has provided me with a thorough understanding of how illness, disability and long-term health conditions can affect everyday life. It has also given me valuable experience in completing detailed assessments, reviewing medical evidence and producing professional reports.

I established Health & Benefit Solutions because I saw first-hand how overwhelming benefit applications can be. Many people struggle to explain the impact of their condition, complete lengthy forms or understand what evidence is required. My aim is to make that process less stressful by providing clear, professional support tailored to each individual’s circumstances.

Whether you’re making a new Personal Independence Payment (PIP) application, renewing an existing award, preparing for an assessment or requesting a Mandatory Reconsideration, I will work with you to ensure your application accurately reflects how your condition affects your daily life.
